MEET ISA

Being a Minneapolis wedding photographer I love when my couples get married a few minutes from my house! Julie and Nick’s wedding was one I won’t forget!

They got married last August at the Ridgetop in Prescott, Wisconsin.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather! The Ridgetop is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding. With its lush hydrangeas and gorgeous grassy ceremony area it’s the perfect spot for a summer wedding.

Julie chose a beautiful color palette of rose and light gray. Her huge bouquet consisted of minimal greenery, long stems of pink and white roses and baby’s breath by @bojonsflowers. It was exquisite.

The girls got ready at the bridal suite earlier on the day. Before Julie’s first look we decided to go outside for a champagne pop with her bridesmaids, and what a fun moment that was! We wanted it to be epic but also not get ourselves soaked. I have to say, Julie nailed it!

Julie opted to do a first look with her dad and with Nick. Afterwards, we jumped right into couple’s portraits and were able to get some gorgeous photos of the two of them by the big willow tree.

Julie and Nick are the most down to earth people. It was beautiful to witness their friends and family come together to celebrate them.

It was an overcast day, but the couple still took some time later in the evening for some “golden hour” and sparkler photos!

I highly recommend bringing a couple sparklers with you on your wedding day even if you don’t plant to do a big sparkler exit send off!

It was an absolute honor to capture this wedding for them.

Here’s a big shoutout to the amazing vendors that helped bring it all together:
