Shane and Alexandrea had an intimate wedding ceremony at the Noerenberg Memorial Gardens, in Wayzata Minnesota. This was one of the three weddings that the couple thoughtfully planned so that all members of their families could be present.
Shane’s parents and immediate family attended this one. We started the day with portraits of the couple in their traditional Vietnamese attire. When Alexandrea stepped out of the car in that stunning red gown I was blown away!
These portraits are one of my all time favorites. I absolutely love when my couples incorporate cultural traditions into their wedding day. We then returned to the couple’s home for some makeup and hair touch ups.
I photographed a few candid photos of them getting ready, some details and portraits of Alexandrea in her dress.
The intimate ceremony took place at the sculpture columns, five specials guests attended. It was peaceful, serene and moving. Afterwards we took some family and couple’s portraits. The weather couldn’t have been better.
Noerenberg Memorial Gardens is the perfect backdrop for weddings and engagement photos.
I love shooting on sunny days and that’s exactly what we got. Beautiful light throughout the day. It was an absolute honor to capture this special moment for them.
